HPE FlexNetwork X240 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 5m is a genuine HPE passive direct attach copper cable, 5 m long, for 10 Gbps SFP+ ports. It is the standard way to connect ProLiant servers and storage arrays to HPE FlexNetwork and Aruba switches within a rack or between neighbouring racks. HPE equipment recognises the cable as native, so there are no unsupported-transceiver warnings.
The passive DAC needs no power or transceivers and supports data rates from 1.0625 to 10.52 Gbps, including 8G Fibre Channel and 10GbE. HPE part number: JG081C. The X240 family also comes in 0.65, 1.2 and 3 m lengths.
