The HPE DL380 G10 Plus Max High Performance Fan is a maximum-performance fan for the 2U HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus and DL385 Gen10 Plus / Gen10 Plus v2. HPE ships it as the DL38X Gen10 Plus Maximum Performance Fan Kit (P14608-B21) of six modules that replace all standard fans and fill all six fan bays.
Per HPE documentation the Max Performance kit is required with processors above 205 W TDP, rear drive bays, high performance NVMe drives, certain backplanes, and for 12 LFF, 24 SFF and GPU configurations. The regular High Performance Kit only covers extended ASHRAE ranges. The modules are hot-plug and redundant.
