HPE 544+QSFP 10/40G 2-port PCIe is a dual-port HPE InfiniBand FDR / Ethernet 10Gb/40Gb adapter based on Mellanox ConnectX-3 Pro in a PCIe stand-up form factor. Each QSFP+ port runs as 40GbE, 10GbE (via a QSFP-to-SFP+ adapter) or InfiniBand FDR at 56 Gbps, and mixed mode with IB on port 1 and Ethernet on port 2 is allowed. The card was built for HPC clusters and demanding storage where low latency and RDMA matter.

RoCE, SR-IOV and hardware VXLAN/NVGRE offloads are supported, which also makes it a good fit for network-heavy virtualisation. PCIe 3.0 x8 interface; full-height and low-profile brackets included. HPE part number 764284-B21; the FlexibleLOM version for Gen9 is 764285-B21.
